We understand there might be some confusion about how VIP codes work with checkout, and we’d be happy to clarify a few things to ensure a smooth experience for you.
It has come to our attention that Vimeo.com may have recently changed their VIP process to require viewers to log in to their vimeo account in order to apply VIP codes. Please create a free vimeo.com account and then log in to insure that your VIP code will work. Then follow the instructions below and enjoy!
When you use the “Have VIP access?” option, you won’t encounter a full checkout page or be prompted to enter payment details. Instead, you can directly input your VIP code and click “Submit,” as shown below:
However, if you click on the “Rent” option, you will be directed to a standard checkout page. It’s important to note that VIP codes will not work on this particular checkout page, and you won’t be able to bypass the process. You’ll need to enter card information, even if the VIP code you provided grants 100% access. This is a necessary step on the “Rent” checkout page, unlike the direct VIP access mode.
If you’ve entered your VIP code in the correct place you should get a box that looks like this:
If you’ve entered your VIP code in the correct place, you will NOT need to enter any payment information
