Riding the Roller Coaster

Welcome to our roller-coaster life. This one is definitely not for everyone. I acknowledge most people see this as a dream lifestyle but ….let’s be real. Although it has really high highs, it does come with the insanely big ass lows. The struggles are real. I am going to be real on these blogs and not just give you the flowery description of this lifestyle. But before we delve into the lows. Let’s discuss chasing the organic/real highs.

Trigger warning! These highs are not for the feint of heart!

I cried, I’m crying now….(damnit! Got to go get some Kleenex – brb)

I cried tears of happiness and relief when we landed in the US by helicopter to meet our truck, knowing that we cleared the first hurdle of this adventure. Do you know how hard it is to eat and cry at the same time? We sat in a diner waiting for the truck and as soon as I saw it come in on the auto-hauler I started bawling. I was so relieved! Now, you need to understand, I don’t cry. I don’t cry for anything, so when I say that the look on Dave’s face was absolute astonishment, take that for real life drama – no fake drama required.
